Compare The story little Cog-burt and Cotton Candy have many similarities. There are some obvious similarities and other not so obvious. The obvious being both stories took place in the Caribbean. Another analogy that was more in detail was the fact that one of the main characters Little Cog-burt and the main character Lola in Cotton Candy both show unconditional love toward a non human things. For example Little Cog-burt falls for the doll that was placed on top of the Christmas tree.  While Lola falls for the a butter fly. Which she was naming after her ex-relationships. While Little Cog-burt also was very picky where he did not appreciate the gift that was given to him like the other kids. A similarity that relates to the country the stories are from is that both countries were colonized at one point. Contrast  The main difference between these t...

As the Devil enters the scene, it is the only one of the suitors referred to as "young man."
